PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE:
On behalf of the Hoover faculty, welcome back to all of our Hoover families. We are looking forward to a wonderful year filled with joyful learning and community building. This year we are focusing on communication with families. We are creating a parent welcome center in the front area of our school, where parents with multiple languages will be available to help families. We are also in our second year of adopting the School Loop program which will allow you internet access to your students grades, attendance and much more. I will also look forward to meeting you at our Monthly Principal's chats and of course you can always reach me by phone or email if you have a question or concern. Our staff is ready to serve you and looking forward to a great year together.
Most of the information is posted on the Hoover PTA and Hoover Website: http://sfpta.org/Hoover

HOOVER HAWKS COMMUNITY
I would like to welcome you to an exciting 2009-2010 school year. I am a co-volunteer coordinator along with Tricia Kelly-Carlin. I have a 6th & 7th grader at Hoover. I would like you to know that there are many volunteer opportunities at Hoover whatever your time schedule is. It doesn't matter whether you have 1 hour or 15 minutes. A school only runs well if it has good parent volunteers. We need any amount of time and/or expertise that you can offer. Please consider devoting some time and energy into this worthwhile endeavor. My email is wilnmel@astound.net and my cell #694-1961. Please call or email Linda or Tricia if you can add some valuable experience or some much needed time to your child's school this year. Thank you in advance for any effort you wish to extend to our Hoover Hawk community. Linda Kahrau-Rodriguez (co-volunteer coordinator)
